Materials & Fittings

Each Bespoke Summerhouse is designed and constructed to suit personal tastes and requirements. The summerhouses are constructed using traditional joinery methods in our own workshop.

They can be constructed from a range of timbers including Idigbo & Iroko Hardwood, English Oak, Western Red Cedar or Vac Vac Clear Treated Softwood. The summerhouses can be left untreated 'natural look' or finished with a range of coloured stains or painted (both on the interior and exterior).

The summerhouses are roofed using new or reclaimed slate or tiles for a more weathered, rustic look (except the thatched Selworthy Summerhouse).

Windows can be shuttered or glazed and leaded. We can also fit custom iron-mongery, benches and interior storage. If required, interior and exterior lighting and electrical sockets can also be installed.
