Bespoke Summerhouses

The Barle Summerhouse
A house in miniature, with a simple pitched roof and attractive ridge tiles, this building features a sheltered porch frontage. A pleasant place to sit on a summer night looking across the lawn to the house, enjoying, perhaps, the strains of Bach or Mozart coming from the drawing room - and maybe sampling a small night-cap too.
Timber members slanting upward over the front windows, to meet at the centre of the doorway, break-up the rectangles as do the daring triangular window grilles, glazed on the inside.
The timber cladding on the inside is planed to give a smooth finish; whilst the outside has a sawn appearance which looks attractive when stained.
