Bespoke Summerhouses

The Lyn Summerhouse
A truly corner design, with three roof elevations rising to a rear corner post. The curved arches are reminiscent of some buildings in Lynmouth, North Devon.
The timber includes planed frame members, and a semi-rustic cladding which is planed on the internal face, (the cladding in the example is rustic on both sides).
There is a choice of roof covering - tiles or slates, with lead hips as shown here, or concealed lead soakers under the hips where the roof elevations meet.
The construction uses traditional building methods. All timbers are preservative treated, and can be stained. Using a different colour stain for the side cladding (as in the Exe Summerhouse) can enhance the appearance.
The width of the sides can be increased; this would involve a change in the roof design which would be the same as the Exe Summerhouse.
